Winter Youth Basketball League

Kindergarten – Grade 8

Winter season runs January 13, 2024 – March 2, 2024 (8 weeks)

Fees:  $85/resident  $90/Non-Resident

Registration Period: November 1 – December 4

Volunteer coaches needed – notify Rachel Pelc at pelc_r@cityofelgin.org if interested.

Practice Schedules will be emailed to participants one week prior to the start of the season.

Sign up starting November 1st for our winter season of youth basketball. Players will learn the skills of the game and most importantly – teamwork and sportsmanship. Each team has a 1 hour practice per week designated by the league coordinator. Practices will be held at The Centre or Harriet Gifford Elementary School. Games are played on Saturdays at The Centre of Elgin. Additional days and locations may be added to accommodate more teams. Due to the size of the league, no friend or coach requests will be granted.

Fee includes t-shirt, 8 game season, officials’ fees, and awards.

All participants registering after December 4 will be put on a waiting list. Registered players should attend the skills evaluation the week of December 11 at The Centre. A schedule is provided below.
