Welcome to the Edward Schock Centre of Elgin

"The Centre", home to the Elgin Parks and Recreation Department, is located in downtown Elgin and includes a fitness center, track, racquetball and basketball courts, three swimming pools, a rock climbing wall, banquet facility, preschool center, ceramics studio and birthday party rooms. With programming options available to people of all ages and interests, the facility receives over 800,000 visitors each year. Children, teens, adults and seniors make friends and memories participating in the camps, programs and classes, like swimming, soccer, aerobics, ceramics and yoga.

OPEN GYM

Come to The Centre for a pick-up game on one of the three full hardwood courts in the Field House. Open Gym availability changes monthly due to programming scheduled in the Field house.
