Kindergarten – Grade 8

Fall season runs October 10, 2026 – December 5, 2026 (8 week season)

*No practice the week of 11/23-11/28

Fees:  $100/Resident  $125/Non-Resident

Registration Period: August 1 – September 15. Register online or in person at the Centre of Elgin.

Volunteer coaches are always needed – Pleas reach out to Steve Gard at steve.gard@elginil.gov if you are interested!

Practice Schedules will be emailed to participants one week prior to the start of the season.

Sign up starting August 1st for our Fall season of youth basketball. Players will learn the skills of the game and most importantly – teamwork and sportsmanship. Each team has a 1 hour practice per week designated by the league coordinator. Practices will be held at The Centre of Elgin or Harriet Gifford Elementary School. Games are played on Saturdays at The Centre of Elgin. Additional days and locations may be added to accommodate more teams. Due to the size of the league, no friend or coach requests will be granted.

Fee includes t-shirt, 8 game season, officials’ fees, and awards.

All participants registering after September 15 will be put on a waiting list. Registered players should attend the skills evaluation the week of September 21 at The Centre of Elgin; the schedule is provided below.
